Knowledge about hygiene and health is the basis for a healthy world. In countries where the health situation leaves much to be desired, there is an urgent need for that basic knowledge. Many diseases can be prevented through education.
Prevention through Education
That is what MKI stands for. We want to reach as many people as possible in developing countries, in particular in Southern Africa, with prevention programs.
MKI's founder, prof.dr. Harold Robles, was inspired by the work and ideas of his tutor Albert Schweitzer. Respect for life is the key element there. This is also MKI's starting point.
In our work we proceed from our vision that knowledge about health is a human right that must be accessible to everyone in this world.
